fixed bridge
This patient I saw today, grinds and clenches his teeth, and as a result he has broken and worn down all his teeth. After discussing options for restoring his lower right quadrant, he elected to have me restore his teeth with a 4 unit fixed bridge. I made 3 teeth with porcelain and did the last molar in metal. Since the last tooth doesn’t show, I did it in metal because there was not much space and if I used porcelain he would fracture the porcelain off with his clenching and grinding. This bridge looks great and is strong and will last.
Cavity of the day
This patient takes a medicine called atenolol, which is a beta blocker, used to treat high blood pressure. It’s great at lowering blood pressure, but also causes dry mouth. She also loves to eat Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. The decreased saliva and frequent consumption of sugar caused these teeth to decay and the cavities to form. I was able to remove the decay and restore the teeth with ceramic cosmetic fillings. These before and after pictures were taken 15 minutes apart. Looks great!!!

Friday afternoon dental implant case
This patient came to me to restore her missing lower first molar with a dental implant. The new implant tooth fits perfectly and looks better than her teeth on either side.

This patient was hit in the mouth, fracturing his front tooth. I was able to save the tooth with a root canal, composite buildup, and porcelain crown. Here are the before and after pictures.

This patient is a 47 year old man who used to drink a lot of Coke and eat lots of M&M’s. He had extensive decay along the gum line and extending under his gums on all his back teeth. These photos are of his upper right and left quadrant teeth before and immediately after. I was able to restore all these teeth without gum surgery or root canals. And his smile looks so much better now.

This patient is a 19 year old young man who suffered a seizure and passed out and smashed his face on a concrete sidewalk. He fractured his upper central incisors exposing the nerves. I was able to save the teeth with root canals, buildups, and porcelain crowns. These are the before and after pictures.
